My Dream of Greatness
Tell us! What is your personal viewpoint on greatness? Think about it. What do you think it takes to be great? How would/could you achieve greatness? Click on "comments" below to share your thoughts on greatness.
Greatness to me means honesty. People that are honest get respected. When people tell the truth they can be trusted. One needs to be respectful of others to achieve greatness. You would need to help someone if they are upset or you could comfort that person and make sure that they are okay. I would personally like to see people be caring and helping people that need help. I hope to be a good mother by showing my kids that helping people can be better than putting people down. One day I could help by donating money and food to the people that need it. Giving is also what makes people great.
Greatness is the way you feel about yourself and others. The path you take is the way to your own greatness; you don’t have to be great to the world only to yourself and the ones around you. The way you talk and the way you walk is only a small part of it, you have to feel it in yourself and those around you. Some people believe that you achieve greatness by lying to yourself, but that does not make you great and only makes you a fake person. When you are being dishonest to yourself you know it and everyone else close to you will as well. You can rise above that by being true to yourself and the ones you want to be great for. That is what greatness is to me. I would like to achieve greatness by being truthful to myself and other people and to be accepting of those who are not easily accepted.
Greatness means being a strong leader and someone that other people look up to. I try to be great to others by not judging them and by treating everyone the same. When other people are not given the same opportunities as others it is important for them to focus on what they can achieve in life. I want to encourage people with disabilities that they can do whatever they put their mind to because they are the same as anybody else, it just might take them a little longer and a lot more encouragement from others. A person can achieve greatness by being respectful of others no matter what qualities they have.
I think of greatness as being a leader. This type of leader is kind and fair to the people that look up to them. Greatness is not only being a good leader, but also always knowing what to do no matter what situation you are in. I try to gain greatness by working hard and trying to earn respect from others. I want to be remembered for being a kind and nice person or by changing the world in a good way. I plan to go in the military and serve my country. I will have to have great leadership skills, gain respect from others, and work hard to be the best I can be.
Greatness to me is being honest and very truthful. People that are honest and truthful to others will earn respect from others. People that are dishonest to themselves and others will eventually get into trouble and make mistakes in their lives. I want to achieve greatness by becoming a crime solver when I graduate from college. I also think that it would be important to help others who have made mistakes or committed crimes turn their lives back around. By helping people make better choices I can help them earn respect from others and begin to feel how important it is to be respected.
Greatness is achieving everyone’s respect. In order to achieve everyone’s respect you must be willing to give of yourself. You should be there for others to help them in their time of need. In order to achieve greatness you should be respectful, selfless, have a good work ethic, and to use your best qualities to improve the world. I plan to achieve greatness by helping others in the deaf community. I would like to be a sign language interpreter and help deaf people communicate their ideas and thoughts to the rest of the world. I think that this is a selfless act and is helping others at the same time.
Greatness to me means when someone is incredible. This person is kind to other people and strong, both physically and mentally. A great person is giving to others and is willing to help in a food shelter. I would like to achieve greatness through my own actions. I will be a positive person and always work as hard as I can. As a carpenter I will give back to my community by helping charities that help the homeless get back on their feet. I can also build wood made furniture for the homeless as well.
Greatness means being a helpful leader to others. I would help others that need help with things. I will achieve greatness by helping a person in need of help. Like if someone falls down I will help them out. I want to be a person that’s helps out people and stop bullying happening to others. If I see someone get bullied I will stop it. :)
